No matter the size of your website or the nature of your request, our design process follows six simple steps.
We have a tried and tested process for delivering high quality websites at an affordable price. We’ve detailed the core steps of our process below – if you would like to discuss it in more detail get in touch and one of our team will be happy to guide you through it in more detail, or to answer any questions you may have.
Get in touch.
The first step is to contact us and let us know what you’re looking for. It’s easy to get in touch – you can fill our simple contact form and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can. Once we’ve worked out what exactly you need and how we can help, you’ll need to pay 25% upfront with the balance due when your site goes live. We accept debit cards, credit cards or bank transfers. Our hosting charge starts from when you sign up.
We Research.
Once we’ve agreed a way forward, we’ll start to do some research and development. You’ll be asked to fill in a short design questionnaire to help us better understand what you’re looking for; we’ll ask you about what you want from your website, your target audience and other websites that you like the look of. We’ll also do some research ourselves – we’ll see what other’s in your industry are doing, we’ll look at the current design trends and we’ll have a look at your current marketing, or consider how we’re going to tie it in with your future marketing. The objective during this stage is for us to understand.
We Design.
Based on our conversations and research we’ll put together some ideas for you; we’ll produce wireframes showing you how we want to layout your website, and we’ll mock up some designs for your comment and input. We’ll work with you to refine these ideas until you’re happy to sign it off; if it takes ten, twenty or one-hundred revisions, we’ll keep working with you until it’s what you want.
Once you’re happy with the design concept, we’ll move straight into the ‘build’ phase.
We Build.
Building your website is where it starts to come to life. We take your agreed design and start to transform it into a fully functioning, viewable, responsive website – every website that we create is responsive (also known as ‘mobile friendly’). At this stage you’ll also need to start supplying us with content for your pages, and if it’s an ecommerce website we will show you how to add categories and products to the website. We’ll keep you updated via our online client portal throughout the build process and send you regular build updates.
Launch.
When the website is ready we will put it live. Before launching, we do everything we can to ensure that there is a smooth transition. We conduct our full pre-launch check list and make sure that your site is truly ready to start captivating your customers!
We Support.
Our job does not end when the site goes live – we’re here to support you as your online journey continues! We are here to support you as much or as little as you need and if you need any updates that you cannot or don’t want to do through the CMS we will do them under our hourly support charge. It may even be the case that you don’t have time to manage your website – in these cases we offer a full website management service. As your business grows or changes we are on hand when you need us.

We won’t try to tie you into an obscure CMS that has been custom developed; we want to make sure that your website is functional and meets your requirements; by using WordPress we know that you’ll have the freedom to easily manage your website, and that there will be no nasty surprises or recurring fees operate your CMS.
